After coming back to Stockholm after a spontaneous trip to Georgia in the fall of 2022, I started writing about my experience together with some of the stills that I've had taken on 35 mm expired film, portraying two young men, Gio & Misho, sharing a strong friendship.
I wanted to create the feeling of following a cinematic, documentary yet poetic storyboard.
I also wanted to create an authentic feeling with a sense of belonging, love, loss, and grief.
While I was working on my poems and stills, I noticed an open call for active artists in Botkyrka to contribute to Botkyrka Municipality's art collection and cultural heritage.
I applied with three different art pieces (THREE DEATHS, SUNSET BLAZE BOYS, LONE RANGER - see down below,) and together with 8 other active artists - an external reference group selected my work THREE DEATHS.

This was the first visual research for my upcoming visual short film documentary BICH'EBI, which was filmed by the end of May 2023 in Georgia and is now currently in postproduction.
The directors and creative producers are Ellen Gustavsson and Nathalié Williamsdotter.
