BICH’EBI [boys] is a poetic short documentary directed by Ellen Gustavsson and Nathalié Williamsdotter. Filmed in Georgia, the film originated from the earlier visual art series
THREE DEATHS by Ellen Gustavsson, previously exhibited at Botkyrka Konsthall.
Through the voices of two young men, Gio and Misho, the film unfolds through reflections on inner freedom, belonging, and identity.

The film had its World Premiere at the 28th Thessaloniki International Documentary Festival (2026), where it screened in the Open Horizons Shorts Competition.

Produced by Ellen Havana Studios in co-production with Film i Väst, with support from the Swedish Film Institute.
